The original premise of the Barrett Amateur remains the same today – a commitment to building an Elite Invitational Amateur Golf Tournament. The Barrett seeks to attract the very best Amateurs from around the world, recognizing the unique dedication and commitment required of an elite golfer with Amateur status.

It is a tournament that celebrates the game of golf, the purity and integrity of Amateur golf and the fraternity of those who have a passion for the game. Our goal is to create in the Barrett Amateur, a golf championship, that were Bobby Jones alive today, he would want to attend.
